Ceremony

Slave positions are ways in which a slave kneels to their Masters, whether showing respect, or begging forgiveness there is a position for each. The top ten most used positions are in the order below, followed by the remaining positions.

NOTE: "I noted that the palms of her hands, so soft, so vulnerable, had turned on her thighs, so that they faced up. Among slave girls this is a common way of signaling need, helplessness, a desire to please."

"It is almost universal, as far as I know, that a slave kneels in one fashion or another when entering her master's presence, or if she should find herself in his presence. She commonly kneels when spoken to by any free person. This is simply a matter of respect. To be sure, she can be slain if she does not do so. The kneeling position, of course, which the master's, or free person's, permission, either tacit or explicit, is usually required to break, is commonly an initial position. For example, after its deferential assumption, she may be dismissed from it, to other duties, such as cleaning, shopping or cooking."

BARA

"Bara, Kajira!" he said. She rolled quickly to her stomach, placing her wrists behind her, crossed, and crossing her ankles, ready to be bound.

Bara, the Gorean word for "belly", although slaves are expected to respond to either command in the same fashion. In this position the slave falls to her stomach, face down to the floor and turned to the left, crosses her wrists behind her back, and similarly crosses her ankles, her legs straight, in preparation for binding.



GOREAN CRAWL

"I pointed to the stones at my feet. "Crawl," I said, in Gorean. The girl slipped to her belly, and, as a slave girl, crawled to my feet. She put her lips to my foot; I felt her hair over it.

The slave gets down on all fours, her palms to elbows flat on the floor, ass in the air, forehead close but not touching the floor. She crawls to just an inch from the Master's feet.



HIGH LESHA

Also called Binding position. From the Gorean word Lesha, which translates as "leash." In this position, the slave remains either standing or kneeling, depending upon the current position she is in. She turns and puts her back to her Master, her chin up, her head turned to the left so a leash may be attached to her collar, with her chin up and her back and shoulders straight. Her wrists are extended behind her, side by side, in a position to be locked into chained slave bracelets.



COLLAR

"She is yours," he said. He took his strap off her throat, and unbound her hands. "Submit," I told her. She knelt before me, back on her heels, arms extended, head down, between her arms, wrists crossed, as though for binding.

The collaring position, is also called "The Position of Female Submission." A slave kneels at her Master's feet, sitting on her heels. She extends her arms upward, and crosses her wrists.



LESHA

"Lesha," snapped the second officer to the blond girl. She spun from facing him,and lifted her chin, turning her head to the left, placing her wrists behind her, as though for snapping them into slave bracelets.

Kneeling. The slave kneels quickly spreading her thighs wide, arches her back stiffly and places her hands, wrists crossed, at the small of her back, turns her head to the left with eyes lowered submissively, lipsparted slightly and awaits the leash or inspection.





PLEASURE SLAVE

"Tossing my head I knelt, the chain dangling from my collar before my body, to the grass. I knelt back on my heels, my back very straight, my hands on my thighs, my head high, looking straight ahead. I thrust my shoulders back, my breasts forward. I did not neglect the placement of my knees; I opened them as widely as I could, as I knew the men wanted. I knelt before them again in that most elegant and helpless position in which men may place a woman, that position I was later to learn was that of the Gorean Pleasure Slave."

-This is one of the most used positions. The slave kneels, her thighs open wide, her hands placed palms up atop her thighs, her belly and back slightly in, shoulders straight, forcing her breasts out, her head is raised proudly, her eyes lowered to the ground.



OBEDIENCE

"Now inch forward," I said, " remaining low on your belly, and when you reach my feet, once again, as before,lifting your head a little, tenderly and humbly, and beautifully, as though you were a slave , lick and kiss them. Good. Good. Now take my foot and place it gently on your head. Very good. Now place it again on the Mat, and kiss it again. Good. You may now belly back a little, humbly. The slave goes to the floor, laying upon her stomach, face down before the Master. She turns her head and places her cheek against his feet, kissing them lightly in a gesture of love and submission.



PROSTRATE

"I knelt before the guest, putting the palms of my hands on the floor and my head to the tiles.

The slave kneels and touches her forehead to the floor and stretches her arms out before her
with palms face down and fingers spread.

SLAVE LIPS

"Similarly, I was not required to respond to certain sorts of commands, for
example, to make "slave lips," pursing my lips for kissing, or to writhe slowly before my viewers.

When this command is given, the slave turns her head up to the Master, her lips pursed in a
sensual kissing position. She remains motionless, her lips thusly puckered, and may not move
until she is granted the kiss of a Master.

"A girl who is commanded to make slave lips, or who receives the
command, “Slave Lips,” must form her mouth for kissing. She then, commonly, is not permitted
to break this lip position until either she kisses or is kissed. Needless to say, a girl cannot speak
when her lips are in the unbroken, fully pursed slave-lips position. The command which

SLAVERS KISS

"Then, before I could realize what he intended, he had subjected Miss Cardwell to
what, among slavers, is know as the Whip Caress. Ideally it is done, as Kamchak had, unexpectedly,
taking the girl unawares. Elizabeth suddenly cried out throwing her head to one side. I observed to
my amazement the sudden, involunary, uncontrollable response to the touch. The Whip Caress is

The slave falls to the floor upon all fours, and lowers her head to the ground, with her buttocks thrust
upward and her thighs widely spread, exposing her hindquarters fully in preparation for the caress
of the leather against her body.

BELLY

"Stop," he said. "To your belly." Then I was on my belly, on the tiles, my hands at

A slave lays on her belly, parts her legs, shoulder-width apart and lays her arms by her sides, palms
up, her forehead to the ground. She then crawls to her Master's feet, remaining on her belly as
she does so.



BLANKET

"I then threw the second blanket, the top blanket over her, covering her completely.
When a blanket, or cloak, or covering of any sort, is thrown over a slave like this she may not speak or
rise. She must remain as she is, silent, until the master , or some free man, lifts the covering away."

BOUND BY THE MASTERS WILL

"There are many ways of putting a girl at the ring, ‘bound by the master’s will’. One
typical way is to stand her at the ring and have her place her right hand behind her back through
the ring and grasp her left wrist. Another typical way is to kneel her at the ring and have her put her
right hand through the ring, grasping her left wrist. One of the simplest and perhaps the most typical
way of ‘binding by the master's will’ is simply to have the girl grasp her left wrist with her right hand

CAPTURE

COFFLE, KNEEL TO BE

"Kneel to be coffled," said one of the men. The girls knelt,
closely, one behind the other, there were six wrist rings on the chain he carried. He placed the girl who
had been whipped by Lady Sabina first in the coffle line. "Left wrist coffle," he said. They lifted their left
wrists, frightened. Interestingly, the man snapping the wrist rings on the girls´ left wrists did not put the
first girl in the first ring, but the second. When the four maids were coffled there was, thus, an empty

DISCIPLINE OF THE SHE-TARSK

At that time I did not know of the habit of some
masters, usually imposed as punishment, to refuse an upright poture to their girls, and to refuse
them, as well, the use of human language. They must go about on all fours, or their bellies, and
communicate, as they can, by whimpers, moans, and such. They are naked, save for their collars.
They are not permitted to use their hands to feed themselves, and so on. Nedless to say, they also
serve in this modality. There are various Gorean expressions for this, one is " discipline of the

DISPLAY

"The auctioneer did not strike her with his whip. He merely took her arms and
lifted them, so that the position chain, attached to each side of the sales collar lay across her her
upper arms. Then he had her clasp her hands behind the back of her neck, so that the chain, on
each side of the collar, was in the crook of her arms, and she was exposed in such a way that she

EXAMINATION POSITION

"Have that one stand, to be examined," said a man.
"Cotina, stand, examination position!" snapped Targo.
Cotina stood, her legs widely spread, her head back, her hands clasped behind the back of her
neck. It is hard for a woman to move from this position and she must be concerned with her balance.
The subtle adjustments and tenseness required to maintain her balance keep her even more
helplessly in place, and these adjustments and this tenseness will also be expressed in her posture,
providing body-language cues bespeaking obedience and servitude. Too, obviously this posture bares
her vulnerably, and her hands cannot interfere with the examination. The position of the arms, the
hands clasped behind the back of the neck, or, sometimes, behind the back of the head, lifts the bosom,
exhibiting it beautifully.

A slave kneels, thighs spread wide, and leans over backwards until her head touches the floor. She
then pulls herself up, arching her back. This exposes a slave's heat and breasts for her Master's
enjoyment.



HAIR

"Her master seized her from the circle then and hurried her from the light, her
head down, held by the hair, at his left hip. This is a common leading position for female slaves
being conducted short distances. As the master holds her hair in the left hand, it leaves his right

A slave remains in whatever position she is in but gathers her hair and offers it to her Master.



HEEL

"The Forkbeard turned about and, one arm about Pudding, the other about
Gunnhild, started from the dock. Hilda followed him, to his left. 'She heels nicely,' said Ottar. The
men and bond-maids laughed. The Forkbeard stopped. Hilda's face burned red with fury, but she
kept her head high. Pet sleen are taught to heel; so, too, sometimes, are bond-maids; I was familiar
with this sort of thing, of course; in the south it was quite common for slave girls; in various fashions
in various cities, to heel their masters. Hilda, of course, was a free woman. For her to heel was an

A slave runs toward her objective, taking
small rapid steps, her legs almost straight, her feet barely leaving the floor. As she runs, her back
is straight, her head is turned to the left, her arms are at her sides with palms facing outward.
Upon reaching her objective she drops gracefully to her knees and typically resumes the position
of Pleasure slave.



SHE-QUADRUPLED

"In this form of slavery, which is commonly used for disciplinary purposes, or for
the amusement of the Master, the woman is not permitted to arise from all fours; similarly she is not
permitted human speech, though she may signify needs and desires by such means as cringing, and
moaning and whimpering. Not permitted the use of her hands, save as a means of locomotion, she
must also eat and drink from pans set on the floor, or, sometimes to satisfy her thirst, she must lap
the water permitted to her from puddles or lick pillages from the tiles; too, it is not uncommon to

A slaves gets down on her knees and elbows and clasps her hands over her head, raising her hips as
she does so. She parts her thighs and arches her back, forcing her hips yet higher, exposing herself
completely to His view or caress. She readies herself to be beaten or taken sexually like an animal,
depending on her Master's whim.



SLAVE RAPE

"I went to the side of the room and picked up my sea bag. I threw it to the center
of the room. She looked down at it puzzled. It was of heavy blue material, canvas, and tied with a
white rope. "Lie down upon it," I told her, "on your back, your head to the floor." She did so. "No,

"Standard binding position," he said. I was prone. When a girl is prone, the

arms at her sides. Her eyes remain lowered in submission and she silently awaits
her Master's pleasure.



SULA-KI

".. she lay on her back, her knees drawn up, before me. She arched her
back. Her breasts were lifted beautifully. I observed their lovely rise and fall, correlated with
the respiratory cycle of her small lungs. Then she lay back, her shoulders in the dirt, and

The sula-ki is also known as the alternate sula. A slave lays flat on the floor, face upward, her
hands at her sides, palms open and up.

Her legs are spread wide in preparation for her Master's pleasure and

TABLE

A slave has many uses to her Master, one of which is to present
herself as a table, to support his feet or drink. She goes to all fours making sure her back is
level, her head held straight, her eyes lowered in submission. The girl should ensure she is
stable, so as not to risk spilling the drink, or disturbing her Master, and should remain totally
motionless. Stability can be increased if a girl ensures her thighs are parted widely and her

VULNERABILITY

"I sat back, on the grass, leaning back, on the palms of my hands. In
this fashion one’s hands are rather behind one, and rather held in place, by one’s own
weight. This position is one we are taught. In it, as is clear to us, we are more vulnerable.

WALK

When this command is given, a slave turns gracefully, her
hair caressing her body as she turns. She walks quietly across the room or camp, her feet
hardly seeming to leave the ground, her hips swaying sensually, her body erect and proud.
When she reaches her objective she halts and stands, her body erect, her shoulders back,
her chest thrust forward, her belly in. She turns her hips out a bit, her hands at her sides,
and points one foot. Her chin is held high and her eyes are lowered.

WHIPPING
